Food, clothing, and shelter are not the only aspects of poverty. In the modern world, there are various forms of poverty. Let's learn about the different sorts of poverty discussed in this blog.

First, let's define poverty.

It is a predicament in which a person or group lacks basic needs and other necessities. a circumstance where a person is unable to meet their daily essential necessities.

Types of poverty :-

Situational Poverty                                                                                                       It is a relatively typical occurrence. This kind of poverty is something that everyone has encountered in their lives. It is a stage when a person is dealing with a challenging circumstance in their life, such as unemployment, a medical emergency, or family issues. Situational poverty, to put it simply, is a precarious financial status. This kind of poverty may have existed during the pandemic, when the majority of those who relied on monthly pay checks lost their employment.

Generational Poverty                                                                                                    Living in a family that has been impoverished for more than two generations is essentially what it means. Depending on how you were raised, your dreams should reflect the fact that you come from a middle-class home. It is quite difficult to get out of that cycle because it shapes an individual in accordance with that.

Absolute Poverty                                                                                                          It describes a family whose income is so low that they are unable to meet their basic daily needs, including food, clothing, shelter, education, health care, etc. It really signifies nothing at all.

Relative Poverty                                                                                                            It means that even while someone may be making ends meet on a monthly pay check, they still have access to food, shelter, and all other necessities of life, even though they may not be as wealthy as those around them. Despite this, the person is still likely struggling in his life.

Rural Poverty                                                                                                                It alludes to a lack of resources, such as unemployed people, shoddy infrastructure, a lack of modern technology, inadequate medical care, etc.
